5 Smooth As butter
Posted by Ryan on 9th Sep 2025
As silly as it seems, this seems night and day compared to a generic plastic pick. I used Dunlop for years and using my TD35 is like slicing through strings, so quick and effortless yet with full control. I didnt think it'd make a big difference but it does, and for $35 it's worth it.

5 Silky smooth and durable

I never expected a flat pick to make such an improvement in my sound and playing experience! The BlueChip TD 35 is a brilliant replacement for my previous vinyl pick choices. It feels rigid enough to be precise, and just flexible enough to keep the 'feel' of the string tension under my control.

5 Takes a bit of getting used to, but worth it.

This is Blue Chip's thinnest pick but is still thicker than the Fender thins I am used to. But once I got used to the proper grip on this pick and the amount of strumming pressure necessary (or not necessary as the case may be), I found this really brings out the deeper tones in my acoustic guitars. I also find that picking individual strings is much easier and more precise with this pick. I liked it so much I ordered a second one. One for the pocket (in the pocket guard) and one for the home music stand. That being said, If Blue Chip might decide to offer a thinner pick in the future, I would buy it just for the contrast when i want a bit more treble.

5 Worth Every Penny
Posted by Terry Hynes on 27th Aug 2025
I have been playing guitar for more than 50 years. Tried just about every type of pick out there. After reading about Blue Chips decided to try one. Started with a TP50 and loved the difference it made with my Martin D28 - totally eliminated pick noise, allowing the guitar's natural tone to shine. Felt great in the hand too. I got a TP35 and TP 40 to try with my guitars that have light strings - they sound even better than the 50 on those guitars. These picks are a good investment for any serious player.

This is a durable and good-sounding pick! I've been using it consistently at shows for most of the year, and it has not shown any noticeable wear and tear.

I’m no musician. And I can tell the difference immediately I bought two and sent one to my friend who is a musician who's never heard of Blue Chip picks and can’t express how much he loves it. I'll continue buying them for my musician friends as gifts so they can hear the real sounds of their instruments. Thank you Blue Chip.

I was hesitant at first. How much of a difference could a pick make? I was pleasantly surprised! Warmer tone and more accuracy!

5 the HYPE is real!!!
Posted by Derek R on 14th Aug 2025
Been playing guitar over 30 years and am the proud owner of a custom 00 from Santa Cruz Guitar, decided it was time to get a pick that matched my instrument. The pick is very comfortable to hold and easy to keep hold of. Surprising as there are not bumps, holes, etc to enhance grip. The sound and tone are the standouts here. BlueChip gave more warmth and definition to the low end and midrange. At the same time there was more articulation in the trebles. Strumming or hybrid picking a variety of chords and voicings, the sound of the instrument really shine through. Yes, $35 or $40 is quite a sum for a pick, but the results are noticeable and the hype is real!
